The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou in October 2026. Yalan Pack will participate in the first phase of the exhibition, running from October 15 to 19, 2026. We will showcase a range of packaging materials suitable for carton sealing, pallet wrapping, cargo reinforcement, and protective transport for export goods.
We cordially invite you to visit Booth 1.1G45 in the New Materials and Chemical Products zone to meet and discuss business with our team in person.
For international packaging buyers, the Canton Fair serves not only as a platform to compare products and suppliers but also as an ideal venue for physically inspecting samples, discussing technical specifications, and developing customized packaging solutions tailored to specific products and logistics requirements.

Yalan Pack specializes in manufacturing packaging materials for sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, and international freight. Our comprehensive packaging solutions include pallet stretch wrap, carton sealing tape, heavy-duty load reinforcement, and pallet edge protection.
At the exhibition, buyers can discuss standard off-the-shelf products with our team or explore various customized packaging requirements.
Stretch Film Suited for Various Pallet Wrapping Scenarios

Stretch film may appear simple, but selecting the right product involves considering far more than just the price per roll. Hand-wrap and machine-wrap films are suited to different packaging processes; parameters such as film width, thickness, roll length, net weight, core specifications, and stretchability directly impact actual performance.
For instance, when selecting films with thicknesses of 15, 17, 20, or 23 microns, thickness alone should not be the sole criterion. Factors such as pallet load, cargo shape, the presence of sharp edges, wrapping methods, and the required level of load stability are all crucial considerations. Yalan Packaging offers hand-wrap, machine-wrap, pre-stretched, colored, and custom stretch films to meet diverse pallet packaging needs. Buyers visiting the booth are encouraged to bring actual photos of their pallets or basic specification data to facilitate more efficient communication and ensure a more precise solution match.
BOPP Sealing Tape: More Than Just Width and Length

It is common to find BOPP sealing tapes with similar price quotes yet vastly different performance characteristics. While standard specifications might be listed as, for example, 48mm x 100m x 50μm, buyers should also verify details such as whether the stated thickness refers to the total finished product or just the BOPP backing, the type of adhesive used, and the specific type of carton to be sealed.
The total thickness of BOPP tape is the sum of the BOPP film backing and the adhesive layer. The choice of adhesive is particularly important: both water-based acrylic and hot-melt adhesives are suitable for carton sealing, yet each offers distinct advantages regarding initial tack and aging resistance. The quality of the carton itself also affects adhesion; factors such as board smoothness, recycled fiber content, surface dust, and storage temperature and humidity can all influence how well the tape bonds. At the Canton Fair, buyers can compare various BOPP sealing tapes—including clear, colored, and printed options—and determine the most suitable specifications based on their specific sealing requirements.
PP and PET Strapping for Cargo Bundling and Reinforcement

When stretch film alone cannot provide sufficient bundling strength, strapping must be used. PP and PET strapping are not directly interchangeable. PP strapping is typically used for light-to-medium loads, such as cartons and general bundled items; PET strapping offers higher tensile strength and superior tension retention, making it suitable for heavy-duty or demanding bundling applications.
When purchasing strapping, simply specifying the width is insufficient; you must also confirm the material, width, thickness, roll length/weight, breaking strength, paper core specifications, and the type of cargo being bundled. For palletized export cargo, strapping can be used in combination with stretch film and paper edge protectors, with each component serving a specific function: the strapping bears the tension required to secure the load, the stretch film unitizes and stabilizes the entire pallet, and the paper edge protectors distribute the strapping pressure to prevent damage to carton corners and edges.
Why should buyers prioritize the complete packaging system?

Many buyers make the mistake of evaluating individual packaging materials in isolation while overlooking how they work together as a system. In actual export shipping scenarios, various packaging materials function synergistically to provide protection. A typical pallet packaging combination includes: BOPP tape (for sealing cartons), paper edge protectors (to safeguard carton corners), PP/PET strapping (to secure the load), and stretch wrap (to stabilize the entire pallet).
Using more material does not necessarily guarantee better protection; conversely, simply cutting back on materials without considering the overall stability of the pallet can significantly increase the risk of cargo damage. A more scientific approach is to evaluate the packaging solution as a whole and calculate the total packaging cost. For instance, high-performance stretch film may have a higher price per kilogram but requires less material per pallet; the right sealing tape can reduce issues like cartons popping open or packaging line interruptions; and the proper combination of strapping and edge protectors prevents load shifting during handling and carton deformation under pressure. Buyers can discuss these key points in depth with suppliers when evaluating materials at trade shows.
What information should be prepared before visiting packaging suppliers?

If you plan to source packaging materials at the Canton Fair, preparing relevant information in advance can greatly improve the efficiency of your negotiations.
·For stretch film: Prepare details on pallet dimensions, weight per pallet, current film thickness, and whether the application is manual or machine-based.
·For BOPP tape: Prepare details on tape width and length, total finished thickness, adhesive type preferences, and carton material/weight.
·For PP/PET strapping: Prepare details on strapping specifications, required breaking strength, paper core size, and actual usage scenarios.
If you are currently facing packaging issues—such as frequent film tearing, tape losing adhesion, or pallets toppling during transport—having photos or videos on hand will facilitate communication. Rather than simply asking for the "lowest quote," providing the information above allows suppliers to offer accurate quotes tailored to your specific operational needs, making it easier for you to compare options.
